Our 3rd Annual Yardworks Festival Returns this weekend on 11/12 May

Over the course of the weekend, SWG3's walls and railway arches will be used as a canvas for more than 120 world-class artists, who will transform the area into a colourful display of artwork and murals.

As well as seeing live graffiti, guests will be able to enjoy various workshops and musical performances on the day and there will be hoards of food vendors, drinks bars on site to cater to your needs.

How much is a ticket?

An adult ticket is £5 and you can pay on the door, or book online in advance here. The good news is that under 16's and local residents go free. So if you have yourself a G3 postcode, all you need to do to redeem your free ticket is show up on the day with proof of address.

What can I expect to see?

Over the course of the two days, you can expect to see a blank canvas - 700 metres of black wall space - transformed into a spectacular array of murals by dozens of artists from the UK, Europe and the US. From traditional New York style tagging to more contemporary lettering and sign painting, the full spectrum of street art styles will be on show - starting from the beginning of Eastvale place, heading into the Yard and throughout a purpose-built maze located within the Yard.

Is it kid friendly?

Yes. Not only do under 16's go free, but baby disco group Mini Manoeuvres will be in attendance on Sunday with special guest, DJ Bonzai Bonner - and if you purchase a ticket for this, you get free entry to Yardworks. There will also be a dedicated kids 'creation station' zone all weekend, as well as free skateboarding lessons (for kids aged eight and over) courtesy of Clan Skates. One-hour lessons will be offered between 11am and 4pm on both days, but must be booked in advance via their Facebook page .
