Over the past 15 years, SWG3 has been deeply committed to driving forward and supporting the Gaffiti & Street Art community - a flourishing part of Glasgow's urban landscape. Huge steps have been taken and varying, high-profile projects delivered in partnership with Abellio, Network Rail, Glasgow City Council, University of Glasgow and Community Safety Glasgow.

Thanks to the success of these projects; artists have become increasingly committed to bringing their work to approved sites.

Railway Arch Project

The Railway Arch Project has been an ambition of SWG3 and the Yardworks project to reinstate a route deemed to be used only by cyclists due to bad lighting and undesirable graffiti. Working alongside Yorkhill Community Council, Sustans, DRS and Network Rail, we were then able to gain funding to realise this as Scotland's largest outdoor gallery of street based art. The walls will be yearly transformed and firmly fit withing the Yardworks programme. In the near future every arch will be lit up at night to highlight this fantastic work thanks to the people at Network Rail.
